Secretariat
The Secretariat acts in the best interests of the organisation by implementing the rules and procedures and by faithfully serving the constituents of of the IEA.
The Secretariat reports to, and works with, the Governing Group to further facilitate the global improvement of engineering education and standard of engineering competence.
The Secretariat is responsible for supporting the constituents of the International Engineering Alliance and provides a range of services as part of this:
- Provision of information services including a website
- Ongoing secretarial services to be provided to support the activities of the Governing Group, as well as each Constituent for conducting its own activities such as applications, review
- Support the annual meetings of Constituents (and the International Engineering Alliance as a whole) including; registration of delegates, logistical operation and record keeping.
- Services to support registration of delegates and logistical operation of any mid-term meetings of Constituents (and the International Engineering Alliance as a whole).
The services for the Secretariat to the International Engineering Alliance are provided by Engineering New Zealand.
